Civic Connect · Business Camera Partnership
Connect the city. Understand what matters.
Towers, trailers and business cameras—connected through TrakIQ.
Written consent • Controlled access • Defined retention
How it works
Four steps, with the business in control
- 1
Enroll
The business submits its details and the exterior cameras it would like to share.
- 2
Review compatibility
TRAK CIVIC can be built out to be compatible with most camera systems. Some integrations may take up to 3 months. Every camera also completes a security review before any access is approved.
- 3
Approve access
The business signs written consent choosing cameras, access level, sharing hours and retention; the municipality then approves access.
- 4
Connect & maintain
Cameras appear on the municipal map and camera wall with a Partner badge. The business can pause or withdraw at any time; withdrawal revokes access immediately.
Who sees what
For municipalities and for businesses
- Business accounts see only their own cameras and their own analytics — never towers, trailers, other businesses or city-wide data.
- Municipality accounts see the entire network in their area: their towers and trailers plus every participating business camera with active consent for that municipality, within the agreed scope, hours and retention.
Privacy rules
Private by default. Shared only with consent.
- Exterior cameras only — the business attests each camera views only exterior areas.
- No facial recognition, biometrics, plate reading or predictive policing.
- Access is limited to the consented cameras, access level and sharing hours; every view is logged.
- Retention is defined in the consent and enforced automatically.
- Pause or withdraw at any time — withdrawal revokes access immediately.
